    EXAM GRADE!!!

Free Email Account:  Several of you use at least one "free" email account.  Email is a very important business tool that's very useful and a good alternative to texting in a business setting.  Your assignment is to create a NEW email account.  Everyone will create a new email account even if you already have one.  This new email account will be used for today's and future assignments.

You may use Yahoo, Gmail, or any other "free" email service to create your "free" email account.  EVERYONE's user name will begin with BIM_  (BIM is in all capital letters followed by one underline).  The remaining part of your email user account name can be your initials, name, etc.  But, you must keep it clean.  No vulgarity.  Your email will be blocked, and you won't get a grade!!!

Once you create the account, you will have to send me a short email.  You will need to follow the format that I specify below for this assignment.  Be sure you include EVERYTHING that I require.

    1. You need to type an appropriate subject in the Subject Line.  Use Title Case (Every word is capitalized).  Your subject line MUST begin with your class period.  For example, "1A - My BIM Email Assignment"
    2. You need to include a properly formatted message in the body of your email.
    3. Your email message MUST begin with "Mr. Gonzalez," on the first line followed by a blank line.
    4. Your email message needs to include a short (3 - 4 sentence) paragraph.  Be sure you use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and correct capitalization.  In your paragraph, you need to explain what you found "easy", and what you found "hard" regarding this assignment.  Include something you learned that you didn't already know.
    5. At the end of your email paragrph, include a blank line.
    6. You need to "sign" your email.  What I mean by "sign" is that you have to type your first and last name at the bottom of your email.
    7. Once done, make sure you click "Submit" or "Send" to send the email.

The instructions above are pretty straight forward, but please ask the substitute for help in understanding what it is that I need.  Your grade depends on it.  You have permission to help each other create your NEW email account.  But, remember; you are NOT allowed to touch each other's mouse and/or keyboard!!!  The substitute understands the assignment, but doesn't have a copy of the assignment.  Go ahead and show her my instructions on the page.
